Ruth's Chris Steak House is the largest upscale steak house company in the world, with over 145 restaurant locations around the world. Founded in New Orleans, Louisiana USA by Ruth Ferrel in 1965 and their specializes in prime grade steak served in Ruth's Chris signature fashion, yeah "sizzling!"

Anyway, Ruth's Chris is located in Jakarta Selatan area, in the ground floor of Somerset Apartments (opposite the world famous Raffles Hotel). Ruth's Chris Steak House features the finest custom-aged U.S. Prime Beef which is famous for its exceptional meat quality and excellent marbling!

Oh ya, I really love the interior, looks classy and elegance, or a bit feels like Great Gatsby, eh?! :) And this restaurant is also completed with their professional service. And  you can look everything on the table is clean, neat, looks formal and ready for the classy experiences here. And if I'm not mistaken, the total capacity here is around 120 guests, and they has several VIP rooms for more private experience.

Yeah, I'm so lucky to be invited here and enjoyed the best steak everrr! I came here with some other foodies and we're ready to eat all the menu that has been prepared by the chef! So, keep scrolling down! :)

Sizzlin' Blue Crab Cakes

Sizzlin' Blue Crab Cakes (IDR 230.000), as our appetizer, and for normal portion, should consist of two crab cakes, but for today (in food tasting session), they only serve one crab cake per serving, so we can still taste the next menus, hehe. Anyway, they also serve this with a half-fresh lemon and you can squeeze it, to add the flavors and make it perfectly blend in your mouth. Seriously, this is THE BEST CRAB CAKE EVER!

Barbecued Shrimp

Barbecued Shrimp (IDR 190.000), large shrimp sautéed New Orleans-style in reduced with white wine, butter, garlic and spices. Idk why it's called the barbecue, because the taste of the sauce itself is not barbecue. Perhaps this is the secret recipe of Ruth's Chris! Anyway, here's a little tips : you can paired the sauce with the breads on your table.

Ruth's Chop Salad

Ruth's Chop Salad (IDR 140.000), they called a Ruth's Chris original, consist of Julienne iceberg lettuce, baby spinach and radicchio are tossed with red onions, mushrooms, green olives, beef bacon, eggs, hearts of palm, croutons, bleu cheese, lemon basil dressing and then topped with crispy onions. For me, those vegetables are fresh and combined perfectly with light-fresh-lovely sauce.

Lobster Bisque

Lobster Bisque (IDR 160.000), another awesome menu here. The taste is savoury, smokey, heavy in cream but mild on flavour. Yeah, kind of my favorite! Because I don't like the strong one, hehe.

Petite Filet

Wohooo! THIS IS THE MAIN STAR which is Ruth's Chris specializes in the finest custom-aged U.S. Prime beef which is famous for its exceptional meat quality and excellent marbling. Ruth's Chris takes pride in proprietary cooking methods, like the trademarked 982-degree Celcius oven that the founder, Ruth Ferrel, helped to develop 50 years ago. And they broil it exactly the way you like it at 980 Celcius degree to lock in the corn-fed flavor.

Petite Filet

Petite Filet (IDR 570.000), served in smaller portion (8-ounce / 230 grams), but equally tender USDA filet. Anyway, the steak is served on a plate heated to 260-degree Celcius to ensure the steak stay 'sizzling' hot throughout your meal. Tips again : Medium Rare is the perfect way to enjoy this awesome steak! And to fully savor the quality of its steak, please no sauce is added. TRUST ME, you can't say anything and just smile when the meat is in your mouth! :)

Cheesecake (IDR 150.000), a homemade cheesecake served with fresh berries and sweetened sour cream with the perfect crust on the side! Yeah, they served in medium portion so it's meant to be shared. Because everything here is served and treated like New-Orleans style.
