Another small and old fashioned restaurant that I found around Jakarta, located at Jl. Rp. Soeroso, in the area of Gondangdia, Central Jakarta. Anyway, the area formerly named Jl. Gondangdia Lama. If you're along Jl. Teuku Cik Ditiro heading to Jl. Menteng Raya, this restaurant is on the right path, a line with Marcopolo Hotel and Restaurant Paramount. Exactly, before the Cikini's railway bridge, Gondangdia.

After all, I'm here with my fellow foodies (again). Yeah, because we loved to have a culinary journey! And this place is one of the list! So, let's eat and enjoy my pictures! *drool*

Kangkung Hotplate

Kangkung Hotplate (IDR 65.000), looks like a home-cooked dish. But in my opinion, the price is quite expensive for a serving of kangkung (kale).  But, it was good and tasty and served while still sizzling, very tempting!

This time I found a hidden gem Japanese restaurant at Senayan. Precisely, this restaurant is in the building of STC Senayan, perhaps people are more familiar with this place as a place that sells a particular hobby needs (such as earphones, lego, airsoft gun, etc). And in fact, in here you'll find some Japanese restaurants are quite caught my attention, and one of them is Sumiya Japanese Restaurant!

Finally that day, my friend and other bloggers decided to stop by and taste the food there. Want to know what it feels like? :)

Onigiri Shake / Salmon Rice Ball

Onigiri Shake / Salmon Rice Ball (IDR 33.000), filled with slices of salmon and wrapped in nori (seaweed). Such a nice starter! :)

Here's I wanna share with you about 'The New Wilshire', Senopati which welcome you with a whole new ambiance in a same decoration. Anyway, wilshire is one of my favourite restaurant, a casual dining restaurant with no dress code and lovely atmosphere. Yeah! So, on that day, I was invited to their newly restaurant located in Senopati, above Colette & Lola.

Wilshire - Dining Area

And basically, you’ll feel the same decor of the old Wilshire (Foundry8, SCBD), but I feel more homey here. They still used wood, yellowish lighting, a classic mosaic tile and black color. Oh ya, I also felt so fun and happy here because a lot of window!

One coffee shop that is being discussed and 'HITS' on the social media in nowadays. Yes, this is Kedai Filosofi Kopi, located at Melawai, South Jakarta (near to Blok M Square). And it is very easy for you to find this place or you can ask people around if you have trouble finding this place.

Kedai Filosofi Kopi, which became a place of shooting the film "Filosofi Kopi, ", which was adapted from a short story by Dewi 'Dee' Lestari. The film tells the story of two best friends, namely Ben (Chicco Jerikho) and Jody (Rio Dewanto), who want to make a business cafe shop, called Filosofi Kopi. Furthermore, Kedai Filosofi Kopi has become a fairly well-known coffee shop in South Jakarta, because of their unique concept and you can enjoy some cups of coffee here. Oh ya, this place has opened for public since April 2015.

This is a restaurant that would be my favorite! HAHA. Honestly, this is the first time I came and tasted the food here, but I immediately intrigued with the resulting flavor. In addition, I also know this place from my blogger friend, who said it was very good and it was true, THIS IS SO DAMN GOOD!

Dry Bak Kut Teh

And this is the menu that attracted me, Dry Bak Kut Teh / Bak Kut Teh Kering (IDR 55.000), contains of pai kut, samcan, tito, intestines (usus) and meat (daging). This dish is served dry (not soupy, in general), but this was cooked by using soy sauce and other spices. The food may look ugly, but it tastes good! I really like this one!
