The emergence of a new restaurant in Jakarta, also raises a variety of foods and new menu. And this time I was invited to Ying Thai Indonesia, which is located at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK, North Jakarta) to taste their 2 new menu : Gyu Tan Don and Pork Knuckle.

Pork Knuckle

It may sound quite strange, why this Thai restaurant serves that foods? Because, the owner of the restaurant is quite a long stay in Australia and he wants to try to sell the menu at their restaurant. It is somewhat deviated from the concept of Thai foods, but to be honest, the food was really good and you're must to try!

Pork Knuckle

Okay, it's time to taste Pork Knuckle which is already served. Then I was quite shocked when I first saw this food, because the portions are quite large for me, haha. And indeed, this portion is served for sharing and can be enjoyed by 4 people. Do you imagine how big this menu? :)

Pork Knuckle

See! The meat is tender and juicy enough, also permeated with the perfect marinade. However, don't worry, because you can eat all parts of this Pork Knuckle, hehe. Maybe if you ever eat this in other places, you will find some parts are quite hard and difficult to eat, but here is different! So, just give a try to yourself :)

Gyu Tan Don

And now, it's time to try the other new menu, here's Gyu Tan Don! When this menu is presented, you can smell the fragrant delights of the menu. In addition, this menu is served with slices of chillies (this isn't too spicy) or for you who don't like spicy, you can ask to be served without chilies.

Gyu Tan Don

Surely, I really in love with this menu because the meat is sliced thin, still soft, smooth and juicy. Other than that, it's cooked perfectly and served quite dry. And if I may say so, this is one of the most delicious Gyu Tan Don I have met, apart from Izakaya Issei.

Mango Sticky Rice

In addition, they are also present Mango Sticky Rice, Thai specialties dessert. For sticky rice and coconut milk sauce is savory enough, only less sweet for the mango (yeah, because it was seasonal fruit).

And the last is for Sweet Cassava! This looks similar to the previous dessert, this is only cassava greased with coconut milk sauce were quite tasty. Cassava is quite soft and warm. So lovely!

Anyway, thank you Ying Thai Indonesia for having me to try your newest menu. And I'll back again for your Gyu Tan Don hehe.
