[NEW] PUBLIK MARKETTE, GRAND INDONESIA

Hello! New Restaurant is coming to town! Yeah, it's Publik Markette, a new establishment by Ismaya Group which is well-known with their amazing concept, but sometimes not for their foods. But now, I found my favourite place and so lovely to be here.

The concept order is just simple as the canteen method (they called is as Food Gallery), you just need to take the your table's number and walk to the start point (left) until the end row (right). And at the end, show your table's number and pay for what you've ordered and they will bring your order to your table! Just wait for some minutes, hehe.

Anyway, they use Food Gallery concept only in a certain time each day (more details at the end of this post) and beside those hours, they will serve you in a la carte. Oh ya, they change menu everyday in Food gallery, so you won't get bored! :)

My Table's Number

Asian Green

Now, started with something fresh and healthy! Asian Green (IDR 35.000), it's sauteed peas, green beans and brussels sprout. Come with fresh vegetables, well seasoning and perfectly cooked! Wanna have a diet? Here's some healthy choices for you!

Tomato Salad

Caesar Salad

Caesar Salad with Spicy Dressing

Caesar Salad with Spicy Dressing (IDR 45.000), this is perfect for you are a vegetarian and like with a healthy lifestyle. Hehe. Anyway, they also serve fresh vegetables!

Beef Short Ribs and Yorkshire

Beef Short Ribs with Hainanese Rice and Yorkshire

And next, we've Beef Short Ribs served with Hainanese Rice and Yorkshire. Surely, their Hainanese Rice is awesome, you should have to try it! Anyway, Yorkshire is an English side dish made from batter consisting of eggs, flour and milk. The dish is sometimes served with beef and gravy sauce. It may also be served as a dessert!

HAHA! Okay, it's time for CRISPY PORK BELLY (IDR 155.000). And because pork are so tempting, so let's take a portion of it! Can't wait too long for this one. Oh ya, you can choose for the side dish : Hainanese Rice or Roasted Corn.

Beer Can Chix Half

Then, we tried for Beer Can Chix Half (IDR 105.000), love the tenderness of its meat and also served with roasted cauliflower. Everything was quite good and well-seasoning! Anyway, the name of the food is a little bit funny, idk why. Haha.

Miso Glazed Salmon with Ginger Sauce

Next for Miso Glazed Salmon with Ginger Sauce (IDR155.000), lovely salmon but I felt a little bit fishy.

Pipe Macaroni

Pipe Macaroni (IDR 50.000), one of lovely pasta on that day! Served with kind of bolognese meat sauce. But imho, it's too pricey for a portion like that or they can improve the presentation.

Scalloped Potatoes Gratin

Scalloped Potatoes Gratin (IDR 35.000), is one of my favourite, because I'm a potatoes lovers! Anyway, this dish isn't contain of scallop and what's the meaning of scalloped here? It's an old english word means slices of meat (but in here, they used ham). And for Australians and New Zealanders refer to it as scalloped potatoes or potato bake.

Roasted Cauliflower

Roasted Kombucha Pumpkin with Gorgonzola

Tomato Salami Focaccia Pizza

Tomato Salami Focaccia Pizza (IDR 45.000), another dish that we found here! And I've started to feel satiety, gosh I'm full enough! Okay, it's Focaccia, a flat oven-baked Italian bread topped with onions, cherry tomatoes, salami and cheese. Everything is good, love love!

BBQ Pulled Pork Crostone

BBQ Pulled Pork Crostone (IDR 80.000), such a lovely dish! Oh ya, you should have to crack that half boiled egg, then the egg yolk will melt around and cover the whole bread, then just dig, cut and eat it!

Apple Tart

Now, let's move to dessert time! Firstly, I tried for Apple Tart (IDR 35.000), I just tried a little of it! Hmm, I thought that it was good enough but the pie is too hard to cut it. But I love their slices of apple.

Coconut Cake

Coconut Cake (IDR 50.000), it's my cake of the day! So lovely smooth and soft its sponge cake and still enjoy the coconut scent. Recommended!

Bitter Sweet Love

Bitter Sweet Love (IDR 50.000), another dessert that I found here! Perfect for you, a chocolate lover!

Good Morning Vietnam

And at the last before we're going home, we offered to taste a few cocktails here. And the first is Good Morning Vietnam (IDR 95.000), it's Cognac VSOP shaken hard with ESP(resso), CHOC(olate) bitters and VAN(illa) sugar. Served in a coffee cup! Cute yet unique!

Mad Hatters Tea Party

Mad Hatters Tea Party (IDR 95.000), they obtained this recipe from a mysterious white rabbit who was late for something and then proceeded to jump down a hole. So, here's sweet tea shaken with rye whiskey, crème de pet, lemon juice and camomile liqueur. Suitable for 2 people. Let's get some fun here!

Adios Motherf*cker

Adios Motherf*cker (IDR 125.000) which is consist of vodka, gin, tequila, rum & lo curaçao shaken with lemon juice and served with lemonade. Anyway, this cocktail looks so fun and cheerful! Yeah, its taste is not too strong, but quite refreshing. Love love love!

This is our whole dinner at all! It may look pretty crazy to call as a dinner, but we almost spent it all because we come with the food bloggers who really love to eat and foods. HAHA! Anyway, I was quite surprised because Ismaya Group has paid attention to their food quality. Maybe if I can say, this is one of the best restaurants of Ismaya Group and will be my favorite place then. Keep up the good work! :)

  1. Will be better if you mention at the beginning that this place is not halal, since the menu contains pork. Because some people just too lazy to read the food review until the end and just interested to see the new and "lucu" place to eat. Thanks. Btw, nice post and photos.
