Welcome to the Pantai Indah Kapuk! A place where you can find a variety of restaurants here! And in this time, I just found a restaurant that serves Thailand Cuisine in this area, it's Bangkok Garden. The location is very easy to find, just a line with Ikkousha and Seorae.

This is a restaurant that had been opened in 1992 in West Jakarta and with their love and passion for foods, now they reopen of Bangkok Garden at Pantai Indah Kapuk. They're back with renewed concept and give an authentic taste of Thai cuisine served with the freshest ingredients from original Thai recipes, prepared and cooked by specially chef from Bangkok, Thailand.

It's time to step and walk into this restaurant. When entering this room, you can feel the comfortable atmosphere as like home, because this place is designed in a minimalist-modern concept with wooden elements and soft colors.

Thai Iced Tea

Thai Iced Tea (IDR 20.000), is the famous drink when you in Thailand Restaurant. And idk why, I really love this! REALLY! Just found another best Thai Tea, yeah!

Yam Khao Poad (Corn Salad)

And let's starts with salad! Yam Khao Poad (IDR 35.000), also well-known with Corn Salad. This salad looks so fresh, which is served with corns, tomato, nuts and long-beans. And the sauce is fresh enough but a little spicy for me. Haha.

Som Tum (Papaya Salad)

Som Tum (IDR 35.000), this is a papaya salad, which can be made easily, simply by using shaved young papaya. Then served with mixed of fish cake sauce and brown sugar. Feel a little fresher!

Tod Man Pla (Fish Cake)

Tod Man Pla (IDR 42.000), here is one of the most prominent appetizers on most Thai restaurants’ menus, fish cake served with cucumber and chilli sauce.

Pik Kai Samun Plai (Fried Chicken Wings with Thai Style)

Pik Kai Samun Plai (IDR 48.000), fried chicken wings served with Thai style. This chicken wings fried until crisp and crunchy enough, then served with cashews, fried onions and leaf. Anyway, Iove its cashews! :)

Gai Hoi Bai Toey (Deep Fried Chicken with Pandan Leaf)

Gai Hoi Bai Toey (IDR 48.000), deep fried chicken wrapped in pandan leaf. This chicken is served in quite soft and juicy enough. But unfortunately, the ingredients are less pervasive and marinade. IMHO, maybe if given more seasoning, it would be better.

Pad Thai (Fried Kwetiaw in Thai Style)

Pad Thai (IDR 42.000), such a fried kwetiaw in Thai style. Sweet, salty and spicy all merged beautifully in a dish. And this portion may be practically quite a bit and the kwetiaw is overcooked so it looks a bit mushy.

Gai Kra Nuae (Sautéed Minced Beef with Basil Leaves)

Gai Kra Nuae (IDR 58.000), just sautéed minced beef with basil leaves. This is my favourite menu, it was very tasty and suitable if eaten with white rice, idk why, haha! And it looks like very spicy, but not spicy as you might think. So savoury for my palate! A-MUST-TO-ORDER!

Khao Ob Sapporod (Pineapple Fried Rice)

Khao Ob Sapporod (IDR 46.000), this is a classic Thai pineapple fried rice as the real vegetarian Thai food. Haha. And this menu is fried up with chunks of pineapple, cashews, shrimps and with a curry-flavored sauce. But anyway, this menu is too much use of curry sauce so it feels 'more curry' (like Middle Eastern cuisine) than the typical flavor of Pineapple Fried Rice itself. But it's good though!

Gaeng Kiew Wan Gai (Chicken Green Curry)

Gaeng Kiew Wan Gai (IDR 48.000) yeah, the name is quiet hard to understand, haha! It's Chicken Green Curry and you can order a bowl of rice as your companion for this. And this Chicken Green Curry is giving a punch for its taste. The curry tasted so rich, such a delicious and heart-warming dish!

Tom Yum Goong (Tom Yum with Prawn)

Tom Yum Goong (IDR 68.000), such a picy and sour soup. Indeed, tom yum is characterised by its distinct hot and sour flavours, with fragrant herbs generously used in the broth. And for this one is quiet unique for me, because it was served with coconut strands, such as Thai food should be. Anyway, it's not too spicy! :) FYI, if you don't like to have prawn on your soup, you can replace it wit h chicken.

Khao Neow Mango (Mango Sticky Rice)

Khao Neow Mango (IDR 38.000), it's the most famous Thailand dish! The cream was made from coconut milk, so creamy. And they also provide for durian lovers, Durian Sticky Rice! Haha. Just choose your favourite one!

Ta-Ko Sa-Khu (Corn Pudding)

Ta-Ko Sa-Khu (IDR 16.000), corn pudding served in pandan leaf cup, such a sweet, salty and creamy dessert. Surely, it was better served in cold! You gotta hooked with this, HAHA.

Coconut Pudding

And the last dessert should be Coconut Pudding (IDR 25.000) - they used Thai coconut to made this authentic dessert and it was made from 100% pure coconut. Who can resist this dessert? I really couldn't resist to this one! So refreshing especially when served cold!

Overall, the foods here are good and tasty. It's just that they are less powerful in terms of providing on each cooking spice(s). If stronger in it, it will be very tasty! Cheers!
