Hello everyone! Your wait is over!
And I just wanna tell you about IKEA which has opened in the mid of October! I've though that you guys are so excited with it. So, let's......!

Just a little information for you, IKEA started from an idea in the Southern of Sweden and the store is designed to be a friendly place for families, where people can get ideas and inspiration of new home furnishings, touch and try their products, eat in their restaurant or enjoy the experience in the store.

And did you know? The IKEA name combines the initials of IKEA founder : Ingvar Kamprad (IK) with the first letters from the names of the farm and village where he grew up
- Elmtaryd and Agunnaryd (EA). That's a simple yet unique's name! :)

IKEA is located in Alam Sutera, Tangerang. All contained in a store that stood in the two-story building. Covering 33,000 square meters, including a restaurant with 700 seats and more than 1,000 parking spaces, you will find everything that you need under one roof to turn your home into the most important place in the world. So, let's take a little journey to the hippest one!

This is some unique things that I've found at the store. Oh, I like wanna grab all the goods here! And they make it all look minimalist and caught my attention. Feels like home when you were here.

And while you’re at the store, take some time to chill, relax and refresh in the IKEA Restaurant, stay for a leisurely breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Let's take a break at the IKEA Restaurant, with one of their famous Swedish-style dishes or a local favourite. Here we go!

Swedish Meatballs

Swedish Meatballs (IDR 40.000 / 10pcs) which is served with french fries and IKEA cream sauce. But tonight I'm out of luck, because their mashed potatoes are sold out because of the many visitors who come here for this meal. And besides that, the lingonberry sauce currently not available at IKEA Alam Sutera - but they'll serve you completely soon!

Anyway, you can get some meatballs as you want! FYI, IDR 50.000 (15 pcs) and IDR 60.000 (20 pcs).

Swedish Poached Salmon with Chive Sauce

Swedish Poached Salmon with Chive Sauce (IDR 60.000) served with potatoes and broccoli. I love for the salmon - soft, moist and juicy enough - but for its sauce was so tasteless and lack of seasoning. Hopefully, they'll improve in seasoning in the future.

Penne Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Penne Pasta with Tomato Sauce (IDR 20.000) was presented as in general, just using a tomato sauce. But its sauce which served is too sweet for me and quite thick. Hmm, I thought this sauce taste better than I've found in Singapore. Hehe.

Drumsticks and Prawn Balls

In addition, we also tried for  the light meals, such as Drumstick (IDR 17.000 / 2pcs) and Prawn Ball. And after finished our dinner and we realized if prawn ball menu isn't in the bill (maybe the cashier forgot to include this, I'm so lucky! Haha)

And this is the food that was ordered by me and Eddy, such simple dinner for today!

"Smaklig måltid!"
