Ismaya Catering Co. has opened its second exciting pop-up project, Ismaya Catering Cafe & Gallery. It features 3 different areas : An open kitchen concept, complete with Miele kitchen appliances to host culinary classes, cooking demonstrations, hands-on cooking classes, coffee art classes, and many more, that will be done periodically; a gallery space which functions as a food tasting venue and meeting room to meet prospective outside catering clients; a larger and cozier dining area to accommodate small and large groups, as well as new comfortable sofa seating arrangements.

Expect to see old favorites and exciting new additions on the menu. The one-of-a-kind Cafe maintains its trademark multi-colored coolers, filled with unique beverages and beers from all over the world. The industrial bar continues to brew coffee beans harvested from the best parts of Indonesia. 

Today, I was so lucky to be invited here, to taste their new menu that will be launched on this March! Are you ready to drool with me? Let's come on and enjoy with my photos below. HAHA.

Nachos with Beef Chili Con Carne

Nachos with Beef Chili Con Carne (IDR 45.000), tortilla corn chips served with beef chili con carne (more commonly known in American English as simply 'chili', was a spicy stew containing chili peppers, meat (usually beef), tomatoes and often beans. Other seasonings may include garlic and onions) and topped with sliced of jalapeno and red chili. And it served in three dipping sauces (salsa sauce, guacamole and sour cream). Surely, I really like it!

Mexican Cheese Quesadilla

Mexican Cheese Quesadilla (IDR 48.000), you'll also get Mexican touches here! This quesadilla was consists of mushroom, paprika, onion, coriander leaves and cheese on top with sliced jalapeno and red chilies. Oh ya, this quesadilla was also served in three special dipping sauces (salsa sauce, guacamole and sour cream), just choose your favourite and eat it in warm! HAP!

Nasi Goreng Kecombrang (IDR 45.000), was a fried rice which is commonly known as one of Indonesian food, but now they made ​​it a little bit differently, by adding kecombrang (torch ginger) which is normally used for Balinese food - as the main ingredient for Sambal Matah. Kecombrang has a unique flavor that makes the fried rice so special, also served with sunny side up eggs and pickles.

Soto Tangkar with Jasmine Rice

Soto Tangkar with Jasmine Rice (IDR 45.000), was one of Indonesian food here! Just another simply main course, the soto contains of meat and also tendon, potatoes, sliced of tomatoes and topped with shallots, fried onion and celeries, completely served with rice and chips (emping). I don't really like this dish, it was too plain / less tasty, for me.

Double Trouble Spaghetti

Double Trouble Spaghetti (IDR 65.000) was a combination of two their best-seller menu (Aglio Olio & Crackling Pork Belly). No words can describe the taste of it, really recommended! HAHA. Its pasta was cooked well and then you'll get the 'hot' from the Aglio Olio. This dish will made your day, for sure! 

Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream

Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream (IDR 40.000) as your simply dessert - as usual. It was a warm chocolate cake with melted chocolate on it, so please cut it out! For its perfectly, served with vanilla ice cream and a piece of strawberry, yum yum!

Singkong Belanda

Singkong Belanda (IDR 32.000), fried cassava served with caramel sauce and cheddar cheese on top. This was my favourite too! Really loves its caramel and cheese, but IMHO its a little bit pricey.

 Red Melon Berry Refresher & Virgin Apple Mojito

Red Melon Berry Refresher (IDR 35.000) & Virgin Apple Mojito (IDR 35.000), they're my favourite! Red Melon Berry Refresher was their new cocktail, a combination of watermelon, strawberry syrup and sparkling soda, freshness level upgraded! And Virgin Apple Mojito, this got me hooked, one of the best mojito I have ever met. Its mint and lemon flavor was very pronounced when you drunk it.
