[NEW] LAUGHING STOCK STEAK AND SEAFOOD GRILL

Laughing Stock Steak and Seafood Grill is dedicated to giving you a dining experience you'll love and wanna share with others. It's about giving you exceptional service the moment you're greeted at the door. They also serving entrees that are completed with elegance and culinary passion.

Choose some delicious poached egg, beef bacon on English muffin with Hollandaise sauce, rosti potato and grilled tomato for BREAKFAST or foie gras burger grilled homemade beef patty topped with seared foie gras, caramelized onion, served with fresh salad and french fries for LUNCH or some grilled US Maine whole lobster with mashed potato for DINNER.


Well, this was the best restaurant I ever met in 2014! Although this new restaurant open since last January, was the perfect restaurant for you to visit. It could be said to be one of my recommendations for restaurants in South Jakarta. No words can describe the awesomeness of all the foods that they've serve! PERFECT!

Today, I got an opportunity to taste the foods from Laughing Stock Steak and Seafood Grill, a new restaurant in Cipete area. Before you start reading, I have to warn you that this post contains a lot of best foods ever and get yourself ready to drool. Let's go!


Lychee Iced Tea (IDR 23.000 - left), such a usual lychee ice tea, served with lychee syrup and fresh lychee, was great to your sunny day and the next was Laughing Caramel Milkshake (IDR 35.000 - right), was their best-seller menu, caramel milkshake with peanut crumbs on top, seriously perfectness level upgraded! 


Oreo Milkshake (IDR 35.000 - left) has a smooth texture and sweet, that's why I can't say NO to oreo! And the next, Banana Split Milkshake (IDR 35.000 - right) was the best milkshake for today, you can enjoy the taste of banana in every single sip. But the two of this was became my favourite and a must-to-order for the next visit.

Oxtail Balado

Oxtail Balado (IDR 110.000) was the first main course menu, the aroma really makes you drool and said "OH NO...!!" It was fried AUS oxtail balado served with steam white rice, pickled vegetables and crackers. The oxtail was so soft and tender, also the balado was great, then eat it together with the soup! This really makes my day, for sure!

Pan Fried Salmon

Pan Fried Salmon (IDR 120.000) was the next menu, and if you wanna have fish for your lunch/dinner, this one I really recommend for you! It was pan fried Norwegian trout with baby tomato, spinach, enoki, ginger flakes and miso broth. I was falling in love with their miso broth and the crunchiness of the salmon skin! Everything in well-balanced and so delicious.

US Hanger Steak

US Hanger Steak (IDR 110.000) was the third menu, seared 200gr US hanger steak with caramelized onion, mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables or fresh salad with beef jus. As I know, hanger was a part of the plate section of cow (400 - 650gr), which is also known with "butcher's steak" because butchers would often keep it for themselves rather than offer it for sale. And the hanger steak is usually the tenderest cut on an animal and is best marinated and cooked quickly over high heat (grilled or broiled) and served rare or medium rare, to avoid toughness. It's gonna be the best main course for today!

Surf & Turf

Surf & Turf (IDR 175.000) was the fourth menu, grilled rib eye topped with assorted fresh seafood in garlic and herbs butter, also served with mashed potatoes or french fries and asparagus. This was an extremely combination between seafood and beef! Surely, this meat was big enough and a little bit hard to cut it, BUT when you eat, it so tender and juicy. And I also love for the fried dory, squid, asparagus, prawns and its herbs. NUMERO UNO!

Grilled US Maine Half Lobster

Grilled US Maine Half Lobster (IDR 145.000) was the fifth menu, served with garlic butter and also served with sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes. This was the perfect grilled lobster ever! Can't wait to touch, grab and eat it! And you know what? It has a great seasoning, you can taste it until the lobster's meat.

Uncle Romy's Hotplate Chocolate Brownies

And this was the last, time for dessert! Uncle Romy's Hotplate Chocolate Brownies (IDR 55.000), was a homemade dark chocolate brownies served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. 


The uniqueness is it was served on hotplate then you can pour it with chocolate sauce, which has a great aroma, especially when the chocolate sauce touching the hotplate, immediately smell like 'burnt' chocolate directly arouse your taste.

And overall, this restaurant was great enough, they concern in quality of each ingredients and also serve the best for their customer. There are no words that can describe my satisfaction on all food that have been served. Thank you for Laughing Stock Steak and Seafood Grill!
