LOOBIE, such a new place and quite popular in recent months. If not mistaken, this is still one group Loobie with Steak Hotel by Holycow. Because it's already separated, one of their chef set up a special place which specially provides lobster and shrimp. 

One night, my friend and I participated in the running event "Halo Fit Night Run" at Monas, which is held by Telkomsel. And after the activity is over, we're looking for a place to eat that was open around 1 AM, and finally we've decided for Loobie! Then we headed straight there and what I've got? I still have to wait for awhile. This place is very crowded and liked by many people, because the food is tasty and quite delicious. However, the place is not too big, requires us to wait in line if you want to eat there.

Half Lobster Platter

Half Lobster Platter (IDR 55.000) - I've chose this menu because I didn't eat much at night but still feels like a sinner, haha. I really loves the calamari, very soft and crunchy!

Mix Platter

Mix Platter (IDR 125.000) - It was a mixed of lobster and shrimp. Perfectly combo! I thought one portion isn't enough, haha! 

Both of them was a fresh 300 gram sea lobster and super sized shrimp which marinated with their homemade recipe and served with warm fluffy white rice and deep calamari.

And not to be forgotten, they also provide two kinds of sauce, the spicy garlic sauce and sambal matah.  But I prefered for sambal matah or it depends on your favorite.

When walked around South Jakarta and we felt so lazy to go the nearest mall for lunch. So, we went to Cibulan - one of my friend said "there was a good place, speciality in ribs". Okay, in a minute, we found the place! 
The place isn't good enough but we get the best ribs and also its taste, maybe it can be one of the best ribs I ever taste. Then, take a seat and let's order!

Iga Bakar Kecap

Grilled Ribs with Ketchup (Iga Bakar Kecap) - it's just an original taste, very simple but still sweet, tender and savory! One serving will filling up your belly!


BBQ Ribs (Iga BBQ) - ribs cooked with honey sauce, its taste a bit different from the other ribs, savory and tender. This is my favorite lunch menu! Idk why, I just falling in love with it, perfectly combo!

Sop Iga Bening

Sop Iga Bening, it just ribs served with a savory soup, then topped with fried onions and celery which is add the fragrance of this soup.

Ayam Betutu

Ayam Betutu (HOT!) - The chicken was great fun, almost all spices commonly used in homes, blended into one, then steamed until the chicken is tender. And the spiciness is wow, especially for you who loves chili and ready to get 'hot'!

They also serve :
- Urutan (sausages for Balinese)
- Sauteed Kale (Pelecing Kangkung)
- Kecombrang Ribs
- Beef Satay
- Fried Duck / Chicken, etc

Hello foodie!

Now, I just made Cornflakes Chocolate Cookies. This is my first time to cook and well done! Okay, I'll share my little recipe to you. Here we go!

The following are some ingredients that you have to prepare :
- 75gr cornflakes
- 100 gr dark chocolate (or you can choose milk chocolate)
- 30gr melted butter (or depend on your taste)
- Sprinkled Colorful Seeds (trimis)
- Cup paper for cakes (wax coated - to prevent sticking)

Small Paper Cakes

The following is the process how to make it :
  1. Melted chocolate and butter, then mix.
  2. After the chocolate and butter are mixed, add all the cornflakes and stir until covered with chocolate.
  3. Then enter the cornflakes which is has covered by chocolate into a paper cup that had been prepared.
  4. And for the last sprinkle the colorful seeds on it (before the chocolate be frozen)

 Almost done!

These cookies are finished and it took a while to be served!

And if you can't wait, you can put it in the fridge (to freeze chocolate) and now you're ready to eat!

 It's done! Now, it's your time to try!

FRITES FRIES - An Authentic Belgian Fries

I just found it at Summarecon Mal Serpong, idk why my eyes straight immediately to the food train is quite funny and unique among others. So, I came closer!

And tadaaa! Because I'm such a potato lover, always love any foods containing potatoes. They've 3 variant fries : Belgian Fries (IDR 33.000), Bon Bon (IDR 28.000) and Nachos (IDR 30.000). 
  • Belgian Fries, when you bought this variant, you'll get one free sauce. You can only choose 1 sauce from 6 their top signature sauce : cheddar cheese, classic demi glaze, fry sauce, rachaa, barbecue and original mayo.
  • Bon Bon, just a portion of potato sticks (french fries) with slices of crunchy sausages and served with sweet and spicy sauce. 
  • Nachos, was a snack based of corn tortilla, it really like corn chips. As I know, nachos was an mexican snacks.

Finally, I choose Belgian Fries with cheddar cheese!
So yummy, the fries was soft and salty, really loves it!

And I also ordered Bon Bon, I think it was nice from the picture, but the taste is really good! Bon Bon wasn't crunchy especially for the potato sticks, but it was crunchy for the sausages. Perfecto!
